Halloween With Manhattan Meow: A Celebration for Cats

Halloween is almost here, and at Manhattan Meow, we believe our cats deserve to be part of the celebration too. October brings cozy evenings, playful traditions, and the perfect excuse to celebrate the personalities that make every cat so unique.

This year, we want to make Halloween a little more cat-centric with a Manhattan Meow Halloween Costume Competition.

Join the Manhattan Meow Halloween Costume Competition

We want to see Manhattan’s cats in their best Halloween looks.

From tiny witches and little pumpkins to creative costumes inspired by your cat’s personality, dress up your cat and share their Halloween moment with us. The goal is simple: to celebrate our community and have a little fun together this October.

Most importantly, costumes should always be comfortable and safe. If your cat does not enjoy dressing up, a Halloween-themed collar, accessory, setting, or photo is more than enough to join the celebration.

How to Enter the Halloween Costume Competition

Entering will be simple. Take a photo of your cat in their Halloween look and share it with Manhattan Meow. We will feature selected entries throughout the Halloween season and bring our community together to celebrate some of Manhattan’s most memorable feline costumes.

Competition details, submission dates, and how the winner will be selected will be announced on our social channels.

A Cat-Friendly Halloween Comes First

Halloween can be exciting for us, but unfamiliar costumes, decorations, visitors, and noises can feel very different to cats.

Keep candy and chocolate safely out of reach, be mindful of candles and small decorations, and make sure your cat has access to a quiet and familiar space if the evening becomes too busy. Costumes should never restrict movement, hearing, vision, breathing, or your cat’s ability to communicate comfortably.

If your cat shows signs of stress, skip the costume. Their comfort always comes first.

Celebrating Halloween the Manhattan Meow Way

For us, Halloween is another opportunity to celebrate the cats that make our community what it is. Every personality is different, every costume will be different, and we cannot wait to see what Manhattan’s cats bring to Halloween this year.

Stay close to Manhattan Meow for Halloween updates and get your cat’s look ready. The Manhattan Meow Halloween Costume Competition is coming soon.
